@enuenuenubi The others were too steep and unsafe as the faced out into the street. I have seen this done elsewhere. I think the reason they left the other stairs is they lacked the funding to have the stairs removed and the entire hill resurfaced. So it was just left and built over.

@enuenuenubi I wonder how people used to manage that original staircase. It looks like one wrong step and you’d feel like you were about to fall😂 The newer one definitely looks much easier.

@enuenuenubi 上級階段と下級階段やなw写真判定だと、蹴上30cm以上に対して、踏面25cmない感じか…公園の設計やっとったから無理矢理つくることあっても、さすがにこれは役人も嫌がるかと…
